Housing, Public Safety, Mental Health and Economy Among the Priority Issues at Largest Annual Gathering of Mayors

Washington, DC – From June 20 to June 23, 2024, the U.S. Conference of Mayors (USCM) will hold its 92nd Annual Meeting in Kansas City, Missouri. A bipartisan group of more than 200 mayors from across the country will come together to discuss solutions to a wide range of issues facing cities, including housing and homelessness, public safety, the surging mental health crisis, the economy and infrastructure investment. In preparation for the November election, mayors will also address their priorities for the next administration.

Media is welcome to attend the Annual Meeting and mayors will be available for interviews. Members of the media are encouraged to register in advance here.

The Annual Meeting will also feature high-ranking Administration officials and other national leaders from the public and private sectors. During the Meeting, mayors will consider and adopt policy resolutions that guide the advocacy agenda of the Conference.
