With Top Presidential Candidates Coming to Mayors’ Forum in Waterloo, USCM to Unveil the Mayors’ Vision for America

WASHINGTON, DC – On Tuesday December 3rd, the U.S. Conference of Mayors (USCM) will hold a media conference call to outline its 2020 policy agenda – the Mayors’ Vision for America – and discuss this week’s presidential candidate forum in Waterloo, Iowa. On Friday, USCM is joining with Accelerator for America to host White House contenders for a Local America Presidential Forum. There, mayors from Iowa and around the country will question candidates on the issues that directly impact people’s daily lives and their communities.

In advance of that forum, USCM is releasing a 2020 policy agenda that outlines the priorities of American mayors and solutions to some of the greatest challenges facing the country. This Mayors’ Vision for America – a 2020 Call to Action – reinforces how mayors are leading on policies to get things done for the American people.
