America’s Mayors Celebrate Signing of CHIPS and Science Act

Washington, DC – Today, with mayors from across America looking on, President Joe Biden signed into law the Creating Helpful Incentives to Produce Semiconductors (CHIPS) and Science Act of 2022. The bill was championed by America’s mayors, with the U.S. Conference of Mayors (USCM) sending a letter to congressional leadership last month urging its passage.
