Washington, D.C. – Today, the U.S. Conference of Mayors (USCM) announced House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries will speak at the USCM Winter Meeting on Friday, January 19 at 8:45am. Leader Jeffries was previously scheduled to address the Conference on Thursday morning.

Presided over by USCM President Reno (NV) Mayor Hillary Schieve, the three-day conference will bring together a bipartisan group of more than 250 mayors from across the country to discuss the biggest challenges facing cities, including the surging mental health crisis, public safety, immigration, housing and homelessness, workforce development, and infrastructure investment. The annual gathering will also feature appearances from other national leaders, including other senior members of the public and private sectors.
