Washington, DC – On Wednesday, July 29, the U.S. Conference of Mayors will hold a media conference call at 12 noon ET to denounce the recent unilateral deployment of federal agents to cities. Mayors from across the country will call for the immediate removal of unrequested federal law enforcement authorities and urge Congress to swiftly pass legislation to block the Administration from sending unidentified federal agents to cities.
