About

The U.S. Conference of Mayors’ Youth Involvement Task Force is dedicated to helping America’s young people engage in civics and public service opportunities in their cities. The Youth Involvement Task Force works with mayors and youth leaders across the country to create opportunities for young people to engage directly in policymaking and community action such as: developing youth councils and youth commissions, hosting youth-led town halls, participating in voter engagement, and launching additional service activities. The Youth Involvement Task Force serves as a national network of mayors and youth leaders, and fosters opportunities for youth and mayors to share local best practices that can be implemented and scaled nationwide.
