In February 2026, we launched ElevenLabs for Government, our public sector initiative dedicated to helping governments deliver faster, more accessible, and more multilingual services to the people they serve. Cities and agencies use our voice agents to transform call centers — replacing rigid phone menus with natural conversations available 24/7 in any language — and use our creative platform to make public information accessible to linguistically diverse residents and people with disabilities. Current government partners include Midland, Texas; the State of Maryland; and national governments including the United Kingdom, Ukraine, and the Czech Republic, where AI voice agents now resolve 85% of citizen inquiries while freeing staff for complex cases.
Safety is core to our approach. ElevenLabs maintains industry-leading safeguards including voice cloning consent verification, no-go voice protections for public figures, audio watermarking, and strict prohibited use policies — including a ban on robocalling. We are eager to partner with America's mayors to explore how voice AI can responsibly improve constituent services, expand language access, and strengthen trust in local government.
