Washington, D.C.— On Tuesday, April 13, 2021, the U.S. Conference of Mayors’ (USCM) Council on Metro Economies and the New American City will host Senator Sherrod Brown (OH), Chairman of the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, for a virtual discussion at 2:00 p.m. ET. Senator Brown will be joined by mayors from across the country and will discuss provisions in the recently passed American Rescue Plan as well as provide comments on President Biden’s proposed American Jobs Plan.

Senator Brown’s remarks will be followed by a roundtable discussion with several mayors regarding allocation for relief funds. The discussion will be moderated by Council Chair Columbus (OH) Mayor Andrew Ginther.
