Nation’s Mayors to Gather Virtually for 89th U.S. Conference of Mayors’ Winter Meeting

Mayors to Meet with Biden Administration Officials, Congressional Leaders & Business Leaders to discuss priorities including COVID-19 response and recovery, vaccine distribution, climate change, immigration and more

Washington, D.C. – Hundreds of mayors from across the country are gathering virtually for the U.S. Conference of Mayors’ (USCM) 89^th Winter Meeting from Thursday, January 21 to Saturday, January 23, 2021. Mayors will engage with incoming Biden administration officials, Congressional leaders and business leaders to discuss the state of America’s cities and the biggest challenges currently facing the nation. USCM President Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer will lead the virtual three-day gathering. Sessions will focus on issues such as the ongoing COVID-19 response and recovery, vaccine distribution, racial equity, climate change, gun violence prevention, immigration, and cybersecurity.
