Mayors Ask What Youth Can Do: Mayors will visit middle and high schools to discuss their own paths to public service and why it is important for young people to be engaged in their community. In preparation for the mayor's visit, Harvard's Institute of Politics will provide each classroom teacher with a copy of President Kennedy's inaugural address and talking points for the address, in particular the President's call to service. The discussions will also look at the important role a mayor plays in the city.
