City Design Institute Heads to New Orleans, Biloxi

The Mayors Institute on City Design, a program of the American Architectural Foundation, National Endowment for the Arts and The United States Conference of Mayors, will be holding two special design institutes for communities impacted by Hurricane Katrina. The institutes will bring leading experts in architecture and design with mayors from these regions to talk about rebuilding their communities. The Biloxi institute will be held November 14 and be for mayors from impacted communities in the Mississippi Gulf Coast area. The New Orleans institute will focuses exclusively on New Orleans and will be held November 15th. Additional information on the institutes will be in the next issue of U.S.Mayor.
