Trenton (NJ) Mayor Tony Mack and the National Junior Tennis & Learning (NJTL) of Trenton announced a plan to renew recreational opportunities for youth. “The country's largest junior tennis facility will have a tremendous impact on the lives of Trenton's youth…” stated Mack.

NJTL gathered funding from private individuals and local businesses to fund this project while the city contributed $100,000 from remaining capital budget funds and $400,000 from Community Development Block Grant funds (CDBG). The facility will provide over 2500 children and youth with the opportunity to learn about physical activity and nutrition as well as provide employment opportunities for the residents of Trenton.
