September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month!
September 9, 2002
For the third consecutive year, mayors across the country are proclaiming September as Prostate Cancer Awareness Month (PCAM), a national observance started by the U. S. Conference of Mayors.
PCAM is an activity of the Mayors- Coalition for Prostate Cancer Awareness and Education, also initiated by the Conference of Mayors in collaboration with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention under a five-year cooperative agreement.
If you would like further information about activities and materials for PCAM or the Mayors- Coalition, please contact Elizabeth Kresse, who may be reached by phone at: 202-861-6756 or by e-mail to: lkresse@usmayors.org.
