Nationwide Retirement Solutions Awarded the City of Los Angeles Deferred Compensation Plan

Columbus, Ohio — The Los Angeles Board of Deferred Compensation voted to award a five-year contract for the City of Los Angeles Deferred Compensation plan to Nationwide Retirement Solutions.
Nationwide will assume responsibility for the recordkeeping, enrollment and communication services for the plan's $1.9 billion in assets and 34,000 participants on January 1, 2005. Mercer Investment Consulting assisted the city with its search. Great West Life and Annuity is the incumbent provider.
