This month Nationwide Retirement Solutions (NRS) was selected to be the deferred compensation provider for the city of Los Angeles as of January 2005. NRS, a Platinum Member of The United States Conference of Mayors, will help LA secure the retirement of the nearly 34,000 city participants. The plan currently has nearly two billion dollars in assets. NRS was also selected to become the deferred compensation provider for Kansas City (MO) beginning in the winter of 2005. This plan has one hundred million dollars in assets and 2,900 participants.

NRS has long been an industry leader, currently with over 300,000 public employees in 4,000 local governments participating plans with over four billion dollars in assets. It is the service, stability, and educational components that set NRS apart.

Nationwide Retirement Solutions is pleased to have the opportunity to work with Kansas City (MO) and Los Angeles. These cities joins the ranks of other USCM/NRS participating cities, such as Long Beach, Miami, Chicago, and Portland (OR), providing the best deferred compensation program in the market today.
