Mayors Discuss Immigration, Economic Crisis and BP Oil Spill in the Gulf on Blogtalkradio.com

During the 78th Annual Meeting, Conference of Mayors CEO and Executive Director Tom Cochran broadcasted two live shows of "USMayorTime with Tom Cochran" on Blogtalkradio.com spotlighting the mayors who shared the story of U.S. cities. Conversations touched on how cities are handling the economic crisis, immigration, the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, and many of the other hot issues affecting cities.
Guests who appeared on the June 11 broadcast were Oklahoma City Mayor Mick Cornett, Conference of Mayors President Burnsville Mayor Elizabeth B. Kautz, Bowling Green (KY) Mayor Elaine Walker, Mesa (AZ) Mayor Scott Smith, Doral (FL) Juan Carlos Bermudez and Fresno Mayor Ashley Swearengin. The second "USMayorTime with Tom Cochran" show on June 12 featured Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, Newton (MA) Mayor Setti Warren and Bridgeport (CT) Mayor Bill Finch.
The conference has a radio show on Blogtalkradio.com, a social radio network that allows listeners to tune in via the internet for radio talk shows. The shows are broadcasted live, but can be streamed and downloaded as podcasts to adjust to listener schedules.
