The Conference of Mayors Business Plenary Session viewed a live demonstration by Arlington Heights (IL) Mayor Arlene Mulder and TechAlt Inc., a Conference of Mayors Business Council member and provider of interoperability communications for Cook County. The demonstration took place as Bruno Riegl, TechAlt's Vice President of Federal Programs, spoke to the mayors about existing solutions for secure, wireless interoperability technology in America's cities. TechAlt's demonstration allowed several users, all of whom were employing different communications systems, to communicate real-time with each other seamlessly and securely.
