Meet the Mayors Taping a Big Hit June 26, 2000 During the 68th Annual Conference of Mayors in Seattle over 120 mayors had the opportunity to record an online video clip themed Why You Should Visit My City. By taping the clip, the mayors were able to highlight their city’s attractions for the nearly 15,000 unique visitors per month to usmayors.org, the Conference’s popular web site. The videos can be downloaded from usmayors.org by clicking on the "Meet the Mayors Video Clips" link on the front page of the Conference web site (usmayors.org). All recorded clips are expected to be posted by the end of June, 2000. If you are a mayor who was unable to record a clip in Seattle we invite you to record a brief pitch telling the world Why You Should Visit My City and mail the VHS or Beta tape to Jim Welfley of the Conference Staff.
