Resolution #1: Full Funding of Land and Water Conservation Fund and UPARR Programs calls for Congress to pass legislation to provide for full funding of the Land and Water Conservation Fund and the Urban Park and Recreation Recovery Program.

Resolution #2: National Arts and Humanities Month calls upon mayors to proclaim and celebrate October as National Arts and Humanities Month.

Resolution #3: Federal Funding for the Arts, Humanities and Museums calls upon Congress to provide for full funding of the National Endowment for the Arts, National Endowment for the Humanities, and the Institute of Museum Services and Libraries.

Resolution #4: Arts Education was a joint referral with the Jobs and Education Committee, and calls for Congress to incorporate arts and music education programs in elementary and secondary school programs.

Resolution #5: Mayors and Film Commissioners urges mayors to build partnerships with their local film offices and to promote cities as film and video production centers.

Resolution #6: Film Production Flight calls upon Congress to recognize the need for action at the federal level that would allow for a level playing field with foreign countries in providing incentives for film and television production.

Resolution #58: National Care for Students Day calls upon the major sports leagues and other organizations to work with the conference to commemorate April 20, 2001, as National Care for Students Day.

Resolution #59: Cultural Heritage Community Development Initiative recognizes the importance of cities’ cultural heritage programs and the importance of cultural tourism to cities’ economic growth and encourages Congress to support the proposed Cultural Heritage Development Initiative Program.
