Local, regional, and national media provided extensive coverage of the 71st Annual Meeting of the U.S. Conference of Mayors in Denver.

• The meeting consistently led Denver newscasts. There was daily coverage in both the Denver Post and the Rocky Mountain News.
• Mayors attending the meeting conducted more than 125 on'site radio interviews.
• Conference President Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino and Denver Mayor Wellington E. Webb appeared together live on CNNfn.
• USAToday, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, the Associated Press, and numerous newspapers across the country covered the meeting.
