Two new U.S. Conference of Mayors videos premiered at the 74th Annual Conference of Mayors meeting in Las Vegas.

Going to Las Vegas featured Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman and Conference of Mayors Executive Director Tom Cochran. This video was shown at the opening plenary session and was intended to give the mayors an overview about Las Vegas and the events planned for them. The story was told by inserting Goodman and Cochran into scenes from numerous films shot in and about Las Vegas.

The O’Neill Presidency video was a tribute to the 63rd President of the Conference, Long Beach Mayor Beverly O’Neill. The film highlighted the mayor’s “Cities for a Strong America” summits held in Albuquerque, Denver, Los Angeles, and Chicago and her address to the National Press Club in Washington (DC) May 19. The film also included her official visits to China, Japan, and Poland. The video was hosted by Cochran.
