Resolution #76: Containment and Eradication of Non-Native Tree-Killing Insects and Diseases calls upon Congress to provide enhanced resources to address the critical threat of non-native insects and diseases affecting trees.
Resolution #77: The USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service and Invasive Species Revolving Loan Fund endorses the Invasive Species Revolving Loan Fund to help replace trees and other vegetation damaged as a result of infestation or eradication measures.
Resolution #95: Federal Funding for the Arts, Humanities and Museums supports full funding for the National Endowment for the Arts, National Endowment for the Humanities, and the Office of Museum Services.
Resolution #96: Jazz Appreciation urges mayors to promote jazz as an original American art form and to celebrate April 2009 as Jazz Appreciation Month.
Resolution #97: National Arts and Humanities Month urges mayors to build partnerships with local arts agencies and to proclaim the month of October as National Arts and Humanities Month.
Resolution #98: Public Awareness Campaign for Arts Education endorses the “The Arts. Ask for More” public awareness campaign.
Resolution #99: Opposing Restrictions on Local Use of Tax-Exempt Bonds for Publicly Owned Professional Sports Facilities opposes legislation that would set limitations on state and local governments’ use of tax-exempt bond financing.
Resolution #100: The Urban and Community Forestry Program and Urban Forest Research urges full funding for urban forestry program of the US Forest Service.
Resolution #101: Urging The Administration and Congress to Increase Efforts and Support for Timely Expansion of the U.S. Visa Waiver Program urges Congress and the Administration to develop and implement new security systems to allow for the continued expansion of the Visa Waiver Program to new countries.
Resolution #102: USCM Supports Travel Promotion and Facilitation calls upon Congress to pass the Travel Promotion Act.
