Resolution # 60: Calling for Action to Stop Genocide in the Darfur Region denounces the continuing slaughter of the people of the Darfur region and urges the Congress and the Administration to continue to use every means possible to bring the conflict to a peaceful resolution, including supporting an adequate United Nations presence of international peacekeepers and the free movement of humanitarian workers throughout the area to care for the survivors.

Resolution #61: Support for Cooperation Between the U.S. Conference of Mayors and Metropolis expresses support for the Conference of Mayors' new partnership with Metropolis, the international network of mayors based in Barcelona, whose president is Barcelona Mayor Joan Clos.

Resolution #62: Support for Increased U.S. Assistance to Combat Poverty in Africa supports the goal of the Commission on Africa report, a commission assembled by Great Britain Prime Minister Tony Blair, which issued its report in March 2005, and encourages world leaders as well as the U.S. Administration and Congress to give careful consideration to the recommendations of the commission.

Resolution #63: Normalization of Relations with Cuba urges normalization of diplomatic and economic relations between the United States and Cuba.

Resolution #43: Urging Prevention and Prosecution of Human Trafficking at Home and Abroad 1) urges international counterparts and governments to call for the signing of relevant United Nations legal instruments that would criminalize all forms of trafficking in persons, and condemn and prosecute those offenders; 2) urges Congress to pass the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act; and 3) applauds the U.S. Department of State's Trafficking in Persons Report.
