Key representatives from more than a dozen federal agencies will be coming to the 77th Annual Conference to assist mayors and their staff with implementation of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), as well as other key issues facing cities.

The U.S. Conference of Mayors staff has worked with the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs to establish the USCM/Federal Resource Center at the Rhode Island Convention Center where the meeting is being held. The Center will be a place for mayors and city staff to meet with the federal staff managing the various ARRA programs and seek guidance or resolve implementation problems. Mayors and city staff will also be able to interact with these federal officials on other federal programs, policies and initiatives that impact cities.
