The United States Conference of Mayors and the National League of Cities are conducting a survey on municipal jobs for the purpose of providing congressional leaders more timely information about the effect of economic conditions on the municipal sector. This information will be helpful in making our case for the Local Jobs for America Act. An action request and the survey were sent to mayors on May 19. Please take the time to fill out and return the survey by Friday, May 28. If you prefer, you can return the survey by fax to the National League of Cities at 202-626-3113.
