Lewis Named Special Representative for Global Intergovernmental Affairs

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton swore in Reta Jo Lewis as U.S. Department of State Special Representative for Global Intergovernmental Affairs on May 7. Clinton said that in her new role, Lewis would lead the Department of State's efforts to build relationships between U.S. state and local officials and their counterparts around the world.
