Arts Wins in House

May 23, 2005

Late in the day on May 19, the House of Representatives approved by voice vote to increase funding for the National Endowment for the Arts by $10 million and the National Endowment for the Humanities by $5 million. This increase was supported by the Conference of Mayors.
