Conference President Trenton Mayor Douglas H. Palmer has appointed the following mayors to the 2007 Nominating Committee for the Conference of Mayors. The Nominating Committee will meet on Sunday, June 24 in Los Angeles during the 75th Annual Conference.

The Nominating Committee will recommend candidates for Officer, Trustee and Advisory Board vacancies. The recommendations will be voted on by the assembled membership in Los Angeles on Monday, June 25 during the Business Session.

Mayors seeking office should submit a letter of interest to the Nominating Committee, with a copy to Executive Director Tom Cochran.

Following are the current Leadership openings (as of May 14):

Advisory Board Chair = 1

Trustees = 2

Advisory Board Members = 8

Any updates or changes to the Nominating Committee list will be provided to member mayors by the Conference.
