Chicago Mayor-Elect Emanuel Engages with Conference of Mayors

Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley hosted a special dinner meeting April 28 for Mayor-Elect Rahm Emanuel and the leadership of The U.S. Conference of Mayors.
During the discussions, Emanuel pledged his active involvement in the Conference of Mayors, and said he would attend the upcoming annual meeting in Baltimore.
The mayors discussed the pending budget/deficit battles raging in Washington (DC), as well as wide-ranging priorities for the nation’s mayors and metro economies.
