At the January 2008 Winter Meeting of the Conference of Mayors in Washington (DC), the Conference’s Women Mayors group voted to support Burnsville (MN) Mayor Elizabeth Kautz to be the chairperson of the Conference of Mayors Advisory Board.

Bowling Green (KY) Mayor Elaine N. Walker, chairperson of the Women Mayors group, requested that this letter of support be circulated in advance of the Nominating Committee meeting in Miami at the Annual Meeting, prior to the final vote by delegates for new officers of the Conference for 2008-2009.
