Diaz Appoints 2009 Nominating Committee

Conference President Miami Mayor Manuel A. Diaz has appointed the following mayors to The United States Conference of Mayors 2009 Nominating Committee for the upcoming Annual Meeting in Providence. The Nominating Committee will meet at the Westin Providence Hotel on Saturday, June 13, in Providence, R.I. during the 77th Annual Conference.

The Nominating Committee will recommend candidates for Officers, Trustees and Advisory Board vacancies. The recommendations will be voted on by the assembled membership in Providence, on June 15 during the Business Session.

Member Mayors seeking office should submit a letter of interest to each member of the Nominating Committee, with a copy to CEO and Executive Director Tom Cochran.
