$500,000 for Mayors

Lead-Safe...For Kids' Sake Grant Competition Begins

Applications Due April 23, 2004

Whether your city is proposing to address the issue of lead'safe practices through programs, public policy, education or joint efforts with local stakeholders, we encourage you and your city to apply for the $500,000 Cities United for Science Progress (CUSP) Lead-Safe...For Kids' Sake 2004 Grant Program.

Submissions should be in the form of a 750 word Executive Summary outlining how your city proposes to develop new programs to further the goal of making your city lead safe.

A total of $500,000 will be awarded to three cities in Boston at The U.S. Conference of Mayors 72nd Annual Meeting. Deadline to apply is April 23, 2004.
