Mayors Leppert, Berry, Dyer Featured on USMayorTime with Tom Cochran

USMayortime with Tom Cochran returned to the airwaves this month to highlight some of federal issues and exciting initiatives currently being addressed by Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert, Albuquerque Mayor Richard J. Berry and Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer.
On March 4, Leppert discussed the potential budgetary impact on cities if the Federal Communications Commission reccomendeds new federal standards that limit local government authority and compensation for use of the public rights-of-way in the National Broadband Plan.
On March 5, USMayortime featured Berry, who took office December 1, 2009, and was immediately facing a $12 million budget shortfall for Fiscal Year 2010, has used fiscal responsibility to save the city $19 million for FY10. Berry also shared his new public safety campaign to reduce property crime in Albuquerque.
Dyer served as the guest on March 11 episode and shared how high speed and commuter rail investments are transforming the Central Florida region. Dyer also shared his thoughts on how the passage of the 2010 Travel Promotion Act will impact tourism in America and to his city.
