Conference Issues Request for Proposals for HIV Prevention Grants

On February 12 The U.S. Conference of Mayors issued its Request for Proposals (RFP) for a new round of HIV prevention grants totaling $420,000. The RFP is being sent to local health departments, non-profit community-based organizations, and Native American tribes nationwide. Grants ranging from $45-55,000 will be awarded to three projects for prevention among Native Americans, and from $65-70,000 to four prevention interventions for women at high risk of HIV infection.
