The National Conference of Democratic Mayors held its annual business meeting on January 26 during the Conference of Mayors Winter Meeting. The membership voted to re-elected the current officers for an additional term. NCDM President Trenton Mayor Doug Palmer, who also serves as Conference of Mayors Advisory Board Chair, reviewed a calendar of events and discussed plans to work with member mayors throughout the year.

Topping the list of guest speakers were House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi (CA) and Senate Assistant Democratic Leader Richard J. Durbin (IL) who provided the group an update on key political and legislative issues pending before Congress.
