Newly elected mayors and first time meeting attendees were welcomed by Conference of Mayors President Burnsville (MN) Mayor Elizabeth B. Kautz, Membership Committee Chair Piscataway (NJ) Mayor Brian Wahler and Conference of Mayors CEO and Executive Director Tom Cochran at the Orientation January 20 during the 78th Winter Meeting of The United States Conference of Mayors. This meeting had over forty newly elected and/or first time attending mayors who were introduced to membership benefits and conference activities. "Today's mayor is truly on the cutting edge of innovation and is the force behind the entrepreneurial spirit that is sweeping the nation," Kautz explained.
