Green Bay Mayor James Schmitt joined his colleagues at the 78th Winter Meeting and urged them to celebrate June 25th as "Mayors Kid's Day" in their cities. Schmitt created in 2003 "Mayors Kid's Day" as a special day to celebrate and show children how special they are to their families and the future of his city.
At the Conference of Mayors Annual Meeting in Providence, the nation's mayors adopted as resolution proclaiming June 25th as "Mayors Kid's Day" in cities across the nation. For more information, visit the website www.mayorskidsday.org.
