This is the first meeting of the Amtrak Intercity Rail Investment Task Force, which was established to examine the many Amtrak, intercity, and metropolitan passenger rail issues that affect America's cities, and to help prepare for an anticipated reauthorization of Amtrak in the 109th Congress.
