

IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The forum will help assemble a diverse national coalition -- including mayors, members of Congress, housing policy advocates, and representatives of the public health, public education, and business communities -- to help address the nation’s affordable housing crisis. Mayors will discuss and draft a detailed set of policy recommendations to promote production and preservation of affordable housing and homeownership.
Henry Cisneros, former HUD Secretary and now President of American CityVista, the CEO of the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) Bill Novelli and other prominent leaders are expected to speak at the forum. The schedule calls for an evening reception on Monday, May 20, a meeting all day on Tuesday, May 21, and Capitol Hill meetings on Wednesday, May 22.
