The application deadline for the 2012 Cans for Cash^TM City Recycling Challenge is now closed -  Winners to be Announced June 13th during the 80th Annual Conference of Mayors in Orlando

Sponsored by The United States Conference of Mayors and Novelis Inc., Cans for Cash^TM promotes aluminum beverage can recycling in cities. There are two competition categories – Most Cans Collected, and Most Innovative Ideas. The top prize is now $25,000 for first place each category – more than FIVE TIMES the cash award given to any single city in previous years.  Second place winners in each category will receive $15,000, and third place winners will receive $5,000.
