Human Services

History
The United States Conference of City Human Services Officials (USCCHSO) was created in 1981 by city human services professionals in recognition of the growing number of city governments with an individual or agency responsible for human services.

Activities
Activities include the USCCHSO Annual Meeting which convenes in conjunction with the United States Conference of Mayors Annual Meeting.  City human services directors have provided Conference staff with research, programmatic and policy analysis, and other vital information that have made many of the Conference's human services projects and publications possible.
