Leading U.S. Organizations Support Increasing Access to Clean Needles and Syringes by Changing Syringe Sales and Possession Laws to Prevent Blood-borne Diseases
The following organizations have all made statements through official positions, statements, reports, or correspondence in support of increasing access to sterile needles and syringes to prevent transmission of blood-borne diseases by revising, amending, or repealing state and/or local laws so that injection drug users can purchase or possess needles and syringes without a prescription.
