Help Get America’s Businesses Online
Ninety-seven percent of Americans who use the Internet—pretty much all of us—look online for local goods and services. Yet, more than half of all U.S. small businesses do not have a website. Many of those businesses are completely invisible in the one place people are looking for them — on the web. That’s over 15 million businesses that can’t be found online.
Google and The United States Conference of Mayors have come together to launch the Get Your Business Online City Challenge. The Challenge gives you the tools and resources to champion the cause of getting small businesses in your community online and growing.
To be a part of the Challenge, sign up by visiting gybo.com/city-challenge. Then, we’ll provide you tools to help you find local partners, make a public announcement, get the word out, and that’s just the beginning.
Your commitment and leadership is crucial to making this program a success. Together, we hope to get all businesses in your city online, because stronger businesses build stronger communities.
