HENDERSONVILLE, TN ZERO TOLERANCE ON GANG ACTIVITIES 1. Briefly describe the structure of your program. The Hendersonville Police Department has a team of officers who target gang activity movement, and their members. This team studies the relationship of the gang with the community and the impact they might have on the community and then work to suppress any illegal activities. Any gang related crime is prosecuted to the fullest. Any graffiti is painted over as soon as possible. 2. When was the program created and why? The program was created in 1992-93 to prevent gang related activity. 3. How is the program financed? The only costs are on duty time.
