Over eight hundred Tulsa youth participated in this summer’s "Paint the Town" teams covering graffiti all morning and meeting at noon in a park to be cooled by jets of water from Tulsa Fire Department vehicle hoses and to eat pizza and dance. The popular program, now in its second year will be expanded to reach the goal of 2000 participants by the year 2000, and will include clean-up and beautification.
